The movements are transferred through a sliding shaft system from the handle to the jaws to resist even strongest manipulation and to guarantee optimal strength and cutting abilities. The shaft is machined solid piece of steel which consequently makes it stronger than customary tube shafts.
Longest sharpness and durability of the jaws is ensured due to special medical steel made by SANDVIK. The handle can easily be dismounted for proper cleaning. The connection of the handle components is made of solid stainless steel and not simply screwed. This leads to the highest possible life cycle and best concept available.

The Ackermann^© Arthroscopy Perfusion Pump, features a large display to show the pressure value applied, default memory settings and an integrated self-testing and diagnostic system.
The pressure can be adjusted in various units (mmHg, kPa, cm H2O) offering a homogeneous, pulsation free liquid flow and a high grade of mobility due to the possibility of attaching the system to a trolley.
Reusable tubing sets allow efficient use as well as quick and easy change of almost all standard commercial solution bags.

A Shaver System Unit, featuring speed adjustment, an ergonomic autoclavable hand piece, a footswitch and the possibility of connecting two tools simultaneously, completing the Ackermann line of arthroscopic equipment. Additionally, Ackermann is offering a full array of reusable, as well as disposable sterile shaver blades from 3.5 to 5.5mm, including full radius resectors, incisors, burrs, and many more.
